Most of us have a list of things we want to experience or accomplish before we die.  Great! But, if we forget to ask God what He’s got on HIS list, we may miss our true destiny. This short video (at bottom of page) will give you super simple exercise to begin compiling God’s bucket list for your life.

As I intentionally spend more time studying about Heaven and getting excited about all God has in store for his children, I’m more and more moved to pray that I put less focus on my list and more on God’s. While we cannot earn our way to Heaven – that is exclusively the gift of God through Christ that we simply receive by believing, we CAN earn rewards in Heaven. That is done by surrendering our life to God allowing Him to use us for His glory and purposes – what I call His bucket list!

Here are a few “Heaven Resources”

Heaven (Alcorn, Randy) – This is a super comprehensive book written in a way that not only teaches you accurate Biblical truths about Heaven – but gets you really excited about going there. It is divided topically with lots of Q&A format that addresses common questions and concerns about Heaven.

Seeing the Unseen: A Daily Dose of Eternal Perspective – This is a new devotional by Randy Alcorn as well which I just personally ordered as I respect and appreciate all he does.

Money, Possessions, and Eternity – Used in some Bible colleges, this book as all of Randy’s teaching makes the complex simple and principles applicable to your life.

Deadline – My favorite Christian fiction of all time as it so creatively addresses the subject of Heaven and hell in such a powerful way that I’ve even used it as a gift for unchurched friends who love to read.
