TRUE CONFESSION:

Despite a very healthy diet and daily exercise,
Danna’s total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol are too high!
However, she’s opting for a more natural approach we share in this video.

Statin drugs are controversial and we like to take a more natural approach. But, we want to be sure we get results and decrease our risk of heart attack or stroke!

From Danna: Due to a genetic predisposition, I’ve had to deal with a few cardiac risk factors since menopause. I take several supplements (like Coromega Omega 3 and NAC daily) but I’ve recently added this new one and am confident that I can report a significant decrease in my LDL levels in a few months.

I work closely with a naturopath (Dr. Mark Stengler) and I have the agreement of my cardiologist who would prefer I take a statin drug at least once a week – but is open to seeing what will happen with eating organic oatmeal a few times per week and taking Red Yeast Rice supplements.

I’ll report back periodically in updated posts about my progress. You’ll learn in this video why I feel confident the result will be good!
