One of the best ways to feel full and eat less calories is to add high volume and high viscous foods to your daily diet. What are those? Foods with lots of water and lots of fiber. The best source – vegetables! Today’s tips will help you do just that very easily.
Some of you have heard Robyn’s story of having a crazy, insatiable appetite and almost never being satiated after eating. Robyn says, “I am literally hungry all the time! I’ve had to figure out little tricks to help me get and stay full.” Here is one of her favorites – because it is so simple and easy!
10 Minute Soup! I’m not talking about a stock pot sitting on the stove all day simmering, I’m talking about a 10 minute preparation.
Use any veggies you have in your fridge that might not last much longer. For today, I had some asparagus and this is what I made:
Ingredients:
- Asparagus
- Chicken or Vegetable broth
- Shallots or Onions (optional)
- Salt, pepper & any seasonings you like
Preparation: Chop your onion or shallot, trim asparagus and add to soup pot, pour in broth just to barely cover vegetables.
Add seasonings:
Cook over medium-high heat until bubbling and vegetables are tender. Allow to cool just a bit before you transfer to blender. Blend Until Smooth! And Voila! You have a delicious simple easy and filling soup to eat before a meal or as a snack!
Variations for Soup:
Celery
Broccoli
Carrots
Bell peppers
Add some canned coconut milk to make a little creamier
Add some curry to change it up!
